Our current building, constructed in 1934, stands as a local landmark — a stunning example of half-timbered baronial architecture, crafted from authentic Cotswold stone.

Today The New Inn is a vibrant destination for dining, celebrations and late-night energy.

Whether you're joining us for a relaxed lunch, dinner with friends or a family meal, our menu is packed with comforting favourites, fresh flavours and generous dishes to enjoy. Our menu brings together delicious, freshly prepared dishes with something for every appetite seven days a week, including the area's most talked-about Sunday roasts.

As the sun sets, Fridays come alive with our weekly DJ sessions and an electric atmosphere to kick-start your weekend. Enjoy a huge choice of your favourite drinks, including beers, ales, wine and cocktails.

Saturday keeps the energy flowing with live music from a fantastic band, creating the perfect setting to relax, unwind and enjoy the weekend.

Sport & live music

We're famous for our live music and sport

Big screens throughout the venue, and a band or a DJ every weekend.

Our big screens show all Premier League and Championship football, as well as European and international matches. We also show a wide range of other major sporting events, including rugby, cricket, Formula 1, snooker, tennis, golf and more. Fancy watching a particular match or sporting event? Just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Friday

Our weekly DJ sessions from 9pm — an electric atmosphere to kick-start your weekend.

Saturday

Live music from a fantastic band from 9pm — the perfect setting to relax and unwind.

The Grand Suite

Upstairs, an imposing ballroom refurbished in 2018 with a purpose-built stage, DJ booth and a PA system, decorated in a classic and elegant style. Included in the hire is our private bar area, with staff to serve your guests throughout.

From Sunday to Thursday the private bar is available separately, for smaller parties of up to 50 guests.

Top Balcony

Perfect for the warmer months to host your own private garden party. The space is covered with a canopy so guests will be comfortable rain or shine. The Top Balcony is available to hire as half the balcony or whole.

When catering is required, our chefs will provide a menu that suits you. From a finger buffet to a sit-down meal, our onsite kitchens deliver your food to your guests fresh from the oven.

Hours can change around holidays and big fixtures — ring ahead if you are making a special journey.

Good to know
  • We warmly welcome families and children; however, due to licensing restrictions, all under-21s must vacate the premises by 7:00pm. From then on we operate a strictly over-21s policy.
  • We regret that we are unable to accommodate dogs inside the venue. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on our front patio area and rear beer garden.
  • Dress code: smart casual. No tracksuits and baseball caps. No hats inside at any time.
